Hunter Netball Team 1 - Division 4 - Hunter Netball V Hills District

It was an unsettled start to game 2 of the season, with several unforced errors in quarter one, that provided the opportunity for Hills District to create a dominant early lead.

After coming back together as a team at half-time, the girls found their game plan and refocused, finding much-needed consistency during the third quarter. The second half of the game again proving to be our strength.

Across the game it was evident that Hunter 1 has the necessary skills for success this season, creating a lot of turnovers, forcing errors through their strong first and second phase defensive pressure and taking clean intercepts through brilliant reads of the opposition’s play.

Coach Millevoi, note the score line truly doesn’t reflect what this team looks like out on the court, and we’re excited to see what they can pull together as the season progresses and players return to the starting side.

Final Score: Hills District 3 (49) beat Hunter 1 (22)
